SUMMARY:Nouveau Release Day
DESCRIPTION:2019 William Heritage Estate Grown Nouveau \nNouveau was traditionally made as a holiday wine in the Beaujolais region of France. The majority of the wines made in Beaujolais were of great quality and meant to age for years before release. The problem was that there was little wine available for the winemaking family and staff members closer to harvest for them to enjoy during the holiday months. They decided to bring in some early red grapes to crush and ferment without any use of oak barrels or need for aging. Essentially Nouveau means “new wine”. This offered a red wine that was suitable to bottle early and paired great with Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts. \nSuper fresh fun fruity red wine meant to be consumed young. \nVisit us in the Tasting Room for this special release of our limited 2019 Nouveau available to the general public.  Once we are SOLD OUT  that is it until the 2020 vintage.   \n

SUMMARY:2019 Wine Festival - Not Hosting It This Year
DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately we will not be putting on the wine festival for the 2019 season. We have decided to not do the festival this year in anticipation of a larger than normal harvest season. Many of our new vineyards that were planted back in 2015 will be coming on line this year and the William Heritage staff will need to allocate the majority of it’s staff and resources to harvest during the months of September and October. \nWe will consider bring the festival back for the 2020 season\, but with so many new acres of vineyards to tend to this harvest season we do not have the resources to do the festival this year.

Attendees will mingle with winemakers and proprietors\, with specific opportunities to learn how these wines were crafted\, and what makes New Jersey wines unique. Enjoy live music and delicious foods available from Princeton-area restaurants Agricola Eatery\, Two Sevens\, and Cargot Brasserie. \nThe Winemakers Co-Op holds two large public tastings each year. All wines poured at these events adhere to the Co-Op’s standards for NJ fine wine- that they are classic Vitis vinifera varieties\, dry or classically off-dry\, and from 100% New Jersey grown grapes. These wines are terroir-driven — true expressions of what New Jersey climate and soil can represent! Most are estate grown\, and several are single vineyard bottlings. \nThe Spring Portfolio Tasting will be held at Unionville Vineyards\, located at 9 Rocktown Road\, Ringoes\, NJ 08551. General admission includes admission to the grounds\, 4 hours of wine tasting\, entertainment\, and bottled water. Gourmet food vendors will be selling at the event for an additional price. SUMMARY:Spring Portfolio Tasting
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n**Rain or Shine** with ample tented spaces in the event of rain. \nThe Winemakers Co-Op Spring Portfolio Tasting will feature 32 fine wines from some of New Jersey’s top producers. Attendees will mingle with winemakers and proprietors\, with specific opportunities to learn how these wines were crafted\, and what makes New Jersey wines unique. Enjoy live music from The Slicked Up Nines\, playing big band/swing\, Motown\, and hits of the Rat Pack. \nSpecial guest Lenn Thompson (www.thecorkreport.us\, Wine Enthusiast\, Lonely Planet) will share tales of his journey through NJ wine country and other parts of the east coast. \nVIP tickets will include access to the 2pm Winemakers’ Round Table panel discussion and include a tasting of wines relevant to the talk. VIP entrants will also have a chance to taste a selection of reserve wines\, and a complimentary cheese & charcuterie platter. \nThe Winemakers Co-Op holds two large public tastings each year. All wines poured at these events adhere to the Co-Op’s standards for NJ fine wine- that they are classic vitis vinifera varieties\, dry or classically off-dry\, and from 100% New Jersey grown grapes. These wines are terroir driven; true expressions of what New Jersey climate and soil can represent! Most are estate grown\, and several are single vineyard bottlings. \nThe Spring Portfolio Tasting will be held at William Heritage Winery\, 480 Mullica Hill Road\, Mullica Hill\, NJ 08062. General admission includes admission to the grounds\, 4 hours of wine tasting\, entertainment\, and bottled water. Gourmet food vendors will be selling at the event for an additional price. No outside food or beverage are allowed.
