This position is responsible for assisting and preparing food items for our light bites food menu at the William Heritage tasting room. This position does not require any culinary training. Some previous kitchen experience is preferred. This position can help also help provide experience to those looking to move forward in the restaurant industry.
Working – Days & Hours
- Wednesdays (11am-7pm), Thursdays (3pm-9:30pm), Friday (3pm-9:30pm) and Saturdays (3-9:30pm)
- We can consider some minor adjustments to working hours if requested
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Helping to prep food ingredients for food menu
- Helping with cooking and making of food items
- Helping to keep kitchen clean and neat
- Inventory of food items
- Opening & closing procedures
Position Does Not Require Culinary Training
– Culinary or professional cooking experience is not required
– Some previous kitchen experience is preferred
Additional Duties May Include
- Participate in special wine events
- Helping at wine bar to pour wine
- Restocking of items in wine tasting room

- Professional appearance
- Ability to lift 40lbs. Cases of food / cheese can weight as much as 40 lbs.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong desire to work as a team

- Ability to keep moving and stay busy when there is down time
