A hybrid style between traditional French and modern American
winemaking, structured and balanced with plenty of fruit.
This cuvée of unoaked Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon & Pinot Gris was fermented in stainless steel & stirred for over 5 months with fine yeast lees to deepen & richen the aromas & flavors. Although never in oak barrels, the overall mouth-feel is rich & generous with crisp, citrusy highlights.
Tasting notes: light straw color; aromas of citrus, melon & ripe pineapple; flavors of ripe apple, lemon custard & freshly baked sugar cookies; beautifully balanced acidity focuses a long, rich finish.

A portion of this wine aged for 6 months in new oak barrels to provide a subtle nuance of smoke & toasted vanilla. Aromas of violets, plums & red cherries arise from the swirled glass while flavors of crispy purple plum & tart cherry fruit wash across the palate. There are hints of dark chocolate, cedar & aromatic herbs on the gently tannic finish. Crisp acidity helps this wine pair wellwith many foods, like grilled meats & poultry, rich cheeses, pasta and pizza.

1st Edition Cuvée Rouge will be a smooth and intriguing blend of Syrah, Merlot, Chambourcin, Grenache & Cabernet Sauvignon. Dense red-purple color; aromas of ripe, dark berry fruit and toasty oak; flavors of raspberry and cherry with hints of dark chocolate, suede leather and baked croissant; gently tannic finish shows notes of cedar and aromatic herbs while echoing the ripe fruit.
